How did you and your FS decide on your wedding date? Does it have special meaning to you both?

We are getting married on 8/27/21 too! From PA and we picked the date because it was all they had left for the year, but it turns out to be the day after my parents anniversary (:

Hi, I'm also getting married 08/28/21! My fiance proposed to me this summer in St. Augustine, where my parents also got engaged. My family was all in on it, but I thought we were just driving down to visit my grandparents. He knew I wanted my family to be there for it and it couldn't have been more perfect!

I'm getting married 08-28-2021 as well. It just so happen to be the day before our son's 1st birthday so it will be a huge celebration weekend. We have been together for 9 years and he proposed on our property in a place that he made a plan for 4 years ago when we first bought the property.

I was originally a June 13, 2020 bride...then a November 13, 2020 bride...and now finally an August 28, 2021 bride!

Covid definitely had other plans for us - but we're still looking forward to our big day in 2021!

I'm also getting married on August 28th 2021! My fiance and I have been together for 7 years, it will be 8 by the time of our wedding. My fiance proposed June 13, 2020. It was such a perfect day. 73 degrees and sunny. He took me to the Dells of the Eau Claire and found a beautiful spot with a slab of rock protruding out into the rapids. I turned around to look at the water and by the time I turned back to look at him he was down on one knee. We were originally hoping for an end of July wedding because our dating anniversary is 7/28 but that wasn't going to work due to scheduling conflicts with the family so we decided 1 month after our anniversary would be good too and we fell in love with the date! Plus I hear 8 is a lucky number for getting married. 8-28 and it will be 8 years for us! 💛

First was September 26th, 2020. Had to change dates there was an international golf tournament that weekend and no hotels available for guests. Switched to September 5th, 2020...that didn't happen for obvious reasons. We eloped August 29th, and moved everything to August 28th, 2021. Here's to hoping it works out!
