We're getting married May 30, 2020. Planning is going pretty smoothly so far. I have booked the following vendors:

    Venue (includes catering/beverage)

    DJ

    Photographer

    HMUA

Had our engagement shoot, and designed our STDs--just waiting to mail

Picked out the BMs dresses, just waiting to order

Picked out the flowers for bouquets/bouts/corsages, just waiting to order

    Designed our Invitations--waiting to order

Picked out most of the decor items--waiting to buy/order

Hired a travel agent to help us organize our honeymoon--meeting with her next week.

I think we're doing really good so far. I have a lot of things in the "waiting" stage at the moment, as we can only spend so much money each month. But I feel like I'm really far ahead of the game on the actual planning. I know what I want, and what FH wants, and we're rolling. I still need to decide on a baker for our dessert table, and get the GMs attire picked out so they can order it. FH is going with his mom to buy his suit, so I don't even have to be involved with that. I also need an officiant.

Wow, you’ve gotten a lot further then me, I think. Lol My date is May 1, 2020. I’ve booked my venue, which also provides catering. They also provide cake but I still need to get with the baker and they also provide flowers for the gazebo and aisle. Again, I still need to get with the florist too. I haven’t yet as I’m doing my bouquets and centerpiece myself with faux flowers. I’ve purchased some but waiting a little before buying the rest. I want to have a mock up bouquet to show the florist in hopes they can come close to matching it. I have an idea for my centerpieces but I haven’t tried executing it yet. I’ve designed my invites and plan on printing myself, I’ve already purchased envelopes. I’ve already designed and printed return address labels. I’ve ordered my save the dates, they come in next week. I’ve booked my photographer and officiant. Still need to book a dj though. I’ve ordered swatches from around three sites for brides maids and one for groomsmen, so that’s not fully decided. I have found my dream dress online at jj’s house but one, I haven’t even tried on a wedding dress yet so who knows if I’ll really like the style on my body and two, it might look cheap in person seeing as the price is so low. Oh and I’ve purchased wood table numbers, card holder, cake knife and server, wood ceremony seat sign as well as wood sign for unplugged ceremony. Now that I type it all out it seems like a lot more. Haha

Hi! Also a May 30 bride! We have booked our ceremony and reception venue, photographer, have had our engagement photos done, have sent out the save the dates, picked out the color for bridesmaid dresses (they are picking their own dress), I’ve bought my dress, booked our flights and accommodations for our honeymoon, and have designed our invitations. We still have a lot to do, but I feel like we are on a pretty good track.

Having a destination wedding in Mexico on May 29th! Exactly 300 days away!
    what we accomplished so far:
    engagement pics
    booked venue
    booked stay/honeymoon
    bought my dress
    sent stds
made wedding website (8 people already RSVPd online!)
just proposed to half of our wedding party last night!

    what I’m freaking out about:
    photographer
when to send invites (already picked them out though)
    his attire
    bridesmaids & groomsmen attire
airfare that just will not drop in price 😫

on one hand I feel like I’m in good shape, on the other I feel like I’ll always be behind!

good luck with your planning! Feel free to ask any questions 😊

Hi. My date May 23, 2020. I've so far booked the venue which has great in house caterering. Ice chosen a Bbq style menu but I can bring in my own desserts!!! My family actually has 3 wedding planners 2 on my mother's side 1 on my father's side so I've selected which I'll use. This cousin is also married to an ordained man who will be our officiant. I've purchased both Save the Dates and Invites but not yet sent. Std's will go out this week. Way too many ideas I have to sort thru but I'm right on track with my checklist.
