My FH's aunt asked me today if I thought about a cake. Unfortunately I was so worried about my venue, caterer, and photographer I forgot about needing to figure out who is going to do my cake.

November 2020! We have our venue, which includes caterer and bar, I have my dress ordered, and we did a cake tasting. We also have the photographer, but that was kind of built in because she’s a good family friend. I also have like 300 things on Pinterest lol. I basically know what colors and what all of the decor will look like! I just haven’t bought any of it yet.

Ahh he's the greatest! And very old-school when it comes to certain things. It feels it's 'his obligation' to pay for his daughter's wedding

View Quoted Comment Those are the most important so I totally understand, but start looking. When I was looking for a photographer last month the ones we could afford were already booked. Plus this is the perfect time to taste cake. We got lucky with our Baker we found her by going to a group catering tasting. We loved her, the food not so much.... haha

October 2020 bride here. I have booked pretty much everything except when its comes to myself (no dress, mua, or hair).

To keep your cost low maybe look for a new photographer. I am part of an Atlanta FB group and ppl are always advertising their services for less than 1k. Hopefully you have a city FB group.

September 2020 Bride!

I have:

Bridesmaids & MOH, Their dresses, Venue, Officiant, Flower Girl & Ring Bearer, and Photographer.

Working On:

DJ, Food, Decor, Cake, and probably a bunch of stuff I forgot about lol

Oct 2020 bride! 🙋‍♀️ I feel like a bit behind in planning. We have our venue which includes ceremony, catering and bar. FH's friend is our dj, my cousin is a professional baker so will do our cake, about to sign the contract with a photographer. Yes more expensive than I planned but have worked with him before and he does beautiful work so worth ever penny. That was one thing we didn't want to skimp on. Found a hmua just need to sign the contract. I have my bridal party but FH needs to pick his. I think we're going to diy the flowers bc holy cow are the $$$!! We need to find an officiant and I have to start dress shopping soon....and win the lottery to pay for all of this!!! lol

We already booked our venue, caterer, and photographer. Currently evaluating DJs. I purchased my dress and am now planning what everyone else in the wedding party will wear. I dabble in graphic design so I already have our invitations designed.

Next things are finding bridesmaid dresses, grooms men’s suits, booking the DJ, and finding a HAMU artist.

November 2020! I've pick my bridesmaid and MsOH (I have more than one). I'm currently deciding on a venue that I can have both the wedding and reception. My family wants to do the decor, they also know a few caterers, I need to find a photographer, and dj.

October 2020 bride here.

I have venue, wedding party, caterer, flower designer for the wedding party, & officiant. No DJ, or photographer, I am super stressed about those as those will be my biggest expense.
I have the photographer that did our engagement shoot but I am not certain that I want to use her. I think I want more than 100 pictures in 3 hours...But maybe that's normal, IDK.

Dress is another issue but not too worried about it just yet. I'm not a weird shape of size so the alterations might not be a big deal, but hoping to have it done by March 2020. Actually not hoping that is my deadline for the dress.

We’re having a DW in Vegas so it’s perfect because nearly everything has to go through the hotel. That works well for us because we didn’t want to spend the entire engagement scouting out vendors, especially when we don’t there. (instead we’ve been able to do some traveling during our engagement). So, the only vendors we have to decide on are: DJ, hair, makeup, stationery and cocktail hour entertainment.

We already booked the venue.... we’re not having a bridal party, so that’s a relief.... I purchased my dress.... already decided on our decor items (thankfully not much is needed in our venue at all)... we already selected our save-the-dates and those will be ordered next month and sent in January.... timeline completed... and since we don’t have a bridal party, we’re not doing a “rehearsal dinner”. But instead we’re inviting all of our guests and hosting a welcome party at Top Golf.

Hello I’m getting married next year November (spring in Australia)

so far we have organized
- venue (ceremony held same place)
- picked our bridal party
- Dj
- Celebrant / Mc
- photographer
- videographer (just need to pay the deposit)

next big big things on my list is wedding dress shopping next month (the only reason why I’m doing it early is I’m flying down my sister), probably hair and makeup as I’m prickly and some of them are already booked out which is crazy haha

October 2020 and I got nothin 😂 we’re down to two venue options (have to finalize), have our bridal party picked but not asked, colors picked.... other than that, I got nothin
