Does anyone have or are you planning on getting couple tattoos? If so, what do you or are you getting?

FH and I have decided to get one. I created the design and my sister who is a tattoo artist is going to do our tattoos after the wedding. We are getting eachothers thumbprint. With the saying. " I am my beloveds and my beloved is mine" circling around it.

    We got matching tattoos when we got engaged. A gold Celtic Trinity knot. We both have Scotch Irish heritage, and we wanted something powerful and meaningful. The trinity knot can mean many things according to lore ,like you, me us, or past, present, future. We love them! Oh, they are on our tummies. I do NOT recommend getting a tattoo on you belly. Oh my gosh. I have others, but that one hurt (and bled) the most.

    No tattoos yet, but I really want one! I chicken out and talk myself out of it all the time. I am afraid of regretting it in the future. DH doesn't have any tattoos. He is so old school talking crap about getting a disease...come on! I think he would look great with a tattoo on his upper arm!

    I really like the heart tattoo on the finger. It is in a great place on the side of the finger so it can be easily hidden. I will have to remember that when I get the nerve to go into the tattoo shop.

    Love the Trinity knot Julie. I have a big tattoo piece on my leg of my kids birth month flowers and their names and it hurt like crazy in some places all the way up to my chest.

    @Julie I have a trinity knot on my ankle. It also hurt and bled a lot, but I love it!
