Couch at the Sweetheart Table

I really want to put a couch at my sweetheart table instead of boring chairs. I got a quote for a really affordable rental that we both absolutely love, but I'm worried that the seat will be too low and my FH and I will look like we're at the kids table! Has anyone run into/found a resolution to this issue?! Or will the couch be the right height and it's not even an issue in the first place? Thanks

Maybe you could like get a little stage thing thats not too big to put the couch on?

It WILL be too low. Go with chairs; have your florist make you a garland for the backs or decorate them in some way.

I was thinking of getting some kind of wooden platform or something but that might look weird. I just really love the idea of relaxing on a comfy couch for the 10 minutes we'll be sitting at the reception!

If you really want to use a couch (which I agree is a cute idea) you'll need to find a lower table. Like a coffee table height, I would think. maybe the same place you're getting the couch from has tables you could pick from?

I have seen a local rental company that does a victorian(?) style loveseat, that is chair height, it looks great.
I am kind of envisioning something like that, more structure, not necessarily a plush couch that you just sink into.
If you are set on the idea, maybe have some extra cushions so you can sit on the cushions if you need more height?
