Has anyone used Costco as their florist? If so, how did you like them?

A friend of mine ordered bulk flowers and bouquets from Costco and they were gorgeous! You would have never guessed otherwise.

I LOVED my costco flowers. The prices online though were a lot more expensive then the options at the store. So we ordered our centerpieces from the store for pick up the day of the event. Each of our centerpieces (which we could pick different vases and different colors of flowers) were 19.99 each.

We also picked up bulk flowers from the store that day to use in vases on the buffet and just around on other tables and places.

For our engagement party we took a mix of Costco bulk flowers from the store and mixed them with wild flowers for a breathtaking display.

My bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, and Moms corsages were all from bunchesdirect.com which was much cheaper and easier to mix and match what I wanted.

I did add a few sunflowers/roses from costco store bulk flowers to my bouquet (but you wouldn't need to do that)...and added the red ribbon. Smiley smile

I'm buying my short flowered square center pieces and bouquet flowers as well for my tall cylinder centerpieces. It's better to buy them from inside the warehouse (the floral vendor is independent from Costco but, it's prices is STILL WHOLESALE). If you buy from Costco directly from online, it's okay as well. You're still saving money because it's wholesale as well . I just prefer to talk with the vendor and get ideas from the display of flower inside the warehouse. Plus, the vendor can order flowers that isn't on display ( they have brochures). I buy my flowers from Costco all the time and LOVE them!!!

Congratulations and Best of luck to you!

So I was told that my kroger near my venue does flowers and they have a actual florist that will do bouquets and they will order you flowers to DIY also if you like. I think I am going to go talk to them.

Their prices are unbeatable, and from everything I've read, the quality is very good. I've heard the same thing about Sam's Club. If you keep your bouquets limited to simple hand tied pieces and do basic cube hydrangea/rose centerpieces (or roses in vases -- add some greenery for volume), your flowers will be lovely. Don't try to arrange above your skill level, and the outcome will be beautiful. Plus, they do sell finished pieces in packages (they cost a little more, but you could supplement the finished bouquets with bulk flowers for centerpieces and still have a great result).
