Costco Bulk Flowers

Heather, on December 13, 2014 at 9:59 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 14

Hi all! Has anyone used Costco flowers/bulk flowers to make bouquets, centerpieces, etc.? What did you think of quality? Any other thoughts you had? Thanks!

We ordered some arrangements for our rehearsal dinner from Costco. I got the White Mountain selection...I think it was called that anyway. Its growers choice of various white flowers. Ours was mostly a mix of lilies and roses and was really pretty. It comes as 10 bouquets and I think I broke them up in to 12 small jars that I used as centerpieces and decor. Our rehearsal was a backyard bbq so very casual and the flowers fit the vibe very well.

Quality was good. I had them delivered on a Tuesday and trimmed them immediately, put them in water and kept them refrigerated until Friday morning when I took them out to open up. I'd say the flowers lasted for a good 3 days after the event before they started to wilt.

I used them when I worked as an event planner. I've ordered white orchids and baby's breath before. They look great, just make sure you make the delivery date around 24 hours before because they need time to open up. But I've never had a problem with their quality.

I haven't used costco but my best friend used Sam's club for her wedding and ordered 7 boxes of hydrangeas and they were perfect! Not even one bad flower.

I hadn't considered Costco, but that's a great idea. Do you mind sharing some inspiration pics?

We used Costco flowers. I wanted Asiatic lilies as part of our bouquets, so they were delivered 2 days before the wedding so that they could open. The quality was fairly good, and I'm happy with the way our bouquets, and personal flowers turned out Smiley smile Our entire flower bill was $200 for 4 bouquets, 3 arrangments (extra flowers) and about 8 corsage/boutinnieres.

Here is my post about my bulk flowers from costco for our wedding in Nov I thought they worked great and were in great shape! I also was able to find center pieces at the costco location (not online) that were only 19.99 a piece that I preordered through the costco location (not online) and they were awesome.

We also used them for our engagement party in Sept and we mixed those with wild flowers and it was a stunning combination...people were ohhing and awwing about them.
