Cost of mailing STD magnets?

Kiara, on January 13, 2012 at 9:41 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 11

I really love this idea, and I already created mine on Vista Print. But before I order I want to know if it costs more to mail these..They are very small and thin from what I can see...

Those are the wedding invitations we have picked out!! lol

It should still be the standard postage... it didn't cost me any extra.

As long as your envelope (and contents) are 1oz and below, it will only cost 1 standard stamp. When you go over 1oz, it jumps to 64(?) cents. A magnet shouldn't make it go over 1oz though. My Save the Dates were burnt wooden hearts along with a Christmas card. All together heart, card and envelope they were exactly 1 oz. I can't imagine a magnet going over.

I weighed my magnets and they were just one stamp. It was close though.

I put the small magnets in with my x-mas cards and was fine with a standard stamp.

Cute design, but your font looks a little small... especially if it is the small business size magnets.

Use the advance edit link so that you can add text boxes, move boxes around, and change the font size.

Maybe put "and" in between your names?

    Very Cute, love the tree!

I agree with Hayley, I would adjust the font to fill the left side of the photo - and I love the tree - so cute!!

Our STD magnets were 4x6 and about 10mil thick, we were fine with 1 stamp.

I made the font larger, I didn't notice how small it looked until I posted it on here! They are ordered and should be here in a couple of weeks!! Soooo excited, first thing wedding-related we've bought! Thanks for all your help ladies(:
