Corset Wedding Dress Size Help

Jenny, on December 23, 2017 at 1:50 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
Hi, I am purchasing my wedding dress online and am really in love with the mermaid corset back style. I wear a jean size 3-4. Im 5ft 3in and weigh 125pounds.

I know wedding dresses are 2 sizes bigger but I wanted to know what size range should I look for in a corset wedding dress? Will the hips be too tight in a corset dress size 4 or will the corset help adjust that? How many sizes in between can fit in a corset dress?

Are there any sizing guidelines by measurements for this website? I would go by that.

Every manufacturer/dressmaker will be different. There should be a measurement/size guide on their website. I'd have a friend or FS measure you and then go from there. Unfortunately, anonymous internet strangers won't be able to give you any good advice

I’m a streetsize 16 and got an 18 dress and it didn’t fit. I got a 24 size dress and it’s a little big but fits better

I ordered my dress from JJ's house online and it was perfect. What I discovered is to send your EXACT measurements rather than order the standard size.

Have someone measure you at a mimimum! Its super risky businedd buying a dress online! Otherwise, can you try it on in store to see what it fits like? Mine has a corset back and was big. Now im not supposes to lose weight because the edges will touch when i lace it up. However.... its easier to alter to make it smallen larger.
