Corset or keep the hidden zipper

My dress right now has a hidden zipper covered by buttons. As you can see in the picture(hopefully) the buttons continue onto the butt even though the zipper stops about 6 inches before. Mine and DF's one want in a dress was a corset back. The seamstress said it can be done. I'd love some opinions....

@Rachael thank you! I love it @JAA923 you're welcome. I can't wait to see you in your dress. Honestly the buttons do not bother me when I sit down on it and it is very tailored to your body.

Personal choice is for the zipper but honestly it's what you like the look of and will make you happier on your day ... Corset wouldn't need altering if your weight changes a shade

I love buttons. They are my favorite. I do think with the style of your dress that a corset would would really add something. It's rare that I would pick corset over buttons, but in your dress's case, it might just be right.

I say go for the corset. I am changing my zipper back to a corset back so I can include my wedding colors, and it's my second marriage, so why not add a pop of color to the dress.
