Corset or buttons?

I would love to hear what your preferences are on this! I love how buttons look from the back but it doesn't give me as good a figure. I don't really like corsets at the back but LOVE the silhouette it gives. Oh the dilemma.. My dress doesn't allow for an inner corset unfortunately otherwise I would...

Oh the dilemma..

My dress doesn't allow for an inner corset unfortunately otherwise I would have gone down that route without hesitation but I'm probably sticking with corset as most of the photos will be from the front anyway!

    I feel like you don't see as many corsets as you used to. I worked at a bridal/formal dress store years ago and corsets were everywhere but when I went dress shopping I didn't try on a single dress that had a corset.

    I love the corset look. I think it's so beautiful. That's what my dress is and I love that it has more forgiveness

    I like corset because of the figure and it looked nice with the lace of my dress but I think it depends on how it looks with the rest of the dress.

    @MrsF I think we have the same dress! I've never seen anyone else with it. I recently got married and have only one photo of the back of the dress other than when I was getting dressed. The corset wasn't my top choice, but it really didn't bother me either. Looks great on you!

    I'm actually specifically doing a zipper back. No buttons, no corset. I am changing from a ceremony dress to a reception dress and I don't want to deal with the corset the dress comes with so I'm having it altered.

    Get a good corset/longline bra and take the dress in snug - just as good as the corset closure. undergarments work wonders.

    i love the look of buttons. they look vintage and delicate.
