Corset or buttons?

I wore a long line bra that gave me the same shape as a corset. The back of my dress wasn't cut too low, so I got away with the extra support. I had buttons.

I'm obsessed with buttons going on the way down. Before I started wedding dress shopping I thought I wanted a corset and I still think they look good but buttons all the way down is my new obsession

I have recently decided that I don't like corsets on the back of wedding dresses. I like corsets, just not on the back of the dress. I love the buttons! The lace part of my dress has them.

My dress would look better with a button back but when I tried on button back dresses and they just didn't give the same look (I have a bit of a hip shelf so corset hides that!!)

Personally, I like that a corset back is a little more forgiving if your weight changes a bit.

@rosered - yes!! Also allows you to loosen if you have a lot of food or bubbles on the wedding day :-)

100% corset. Weight gain or weight loss, it keeps you looking amazing and small in the waist.

Like people have said it gives you a stunning figure, and you don't have to worry if you lose or gain weight, plus you save money in alterations since you don't need to get it taken in. It looks gorgeous on you!

I also went with a corset back and I am not a corset fan, I don't regret it.

I love love love the look of buttons. I actually had my seamstress add buttons to my gown just for show (as in, it had a zipper) because I love the look so much.

I love the look of buttons, but I agree that corsets are more practical and forgiving! My dress happened to have buttons, but if I had fallen in love with a dress with a corset, that would have been fine too!

I love the way buttons look on dresses & my dress buttoned down the back. With your figure I don’t think you have anything to worry about needing a corset, just mho!

Something about those little fabric covered buttons just make me swoon! That said, you should go with what you will feel the best in - also, your dress looks phenomenal on you!

Mine has buttons all the way down, and I love it! My MoHs are not as thrilled about it, hahaha.

I don't usually like corsets, but that looks pretty and you look super tiny.

My dress has a corset and I'm SO happy it does! This way I know for certain my waist will look the best it can on my wedding day! I'm so happy the dress I loved ended up having a corset, such a life saver and gives you a little bit of stress relief(:
