Contemporary Parent Processional Song

Laura, on January 28, 2016 at 2:09 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

I know I'm going to walk down to "Here Come Those Eyes" by Chris Rice, and I think the bridesmaids will also, but I need ideas for the parents and grandparents to walk down to and also the recessional. I prefer something contemporary and upbeat, with meaningful lyrics

I'm doing Mama's Song by Carrie Underwood for the seating of both mothers. Not sure about his grandmothers.

I would stick to one song for most of the procession. It doesn't take very long for people to get down an aisle so you'd only be playing like 30 seconds to a minute of each song before cutting it.

Hi Laura, welcome to WW! Make sure to upload a picture for your avatar (instead of the default icons) so that we can get to know you and tell you apart from all the other posters. Also, you'll get more responses with a different picture, because the default icons can be associated with spammers/trolls Smiley smile You can do this on desktop or a mobile browser (just not on the app) under My Settings and Profile and Privacy Settings.

Have you looked through the Songs section for inspiration? It's on the main menu on the desktop website - there's a drop-down menu where you can select 'Processional' or 'Recessional'. Check it out!
