Considering a drastic haircut 2 weeks out...

Laura, on September 13, 2020 at 5:42 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 11

I have long red hair but I've been loving the sassy-ness of a shorter style. I've had hair from pixie length to waist length- so really I have no fear. But... the wedding is in 2 weeks from tomorrow. Am I crazy for thinking I should just do it? I have a strapless sweetheart neckline dress.

Your hair length can completely change the way you look in your dress and the way the accessories frame your face. I wouldn’t risk it.

I think 2 weeks out is way too risky. I would be too worried to do it.

As long as you're comfortable, you do you.

Don’t make any drastic changes 2 weeks before your wedding. In any way.

I would consider how did you want your hair done for the wedding day and if you can still achieve it with short hair

If you’ve had your hair that length before and we’re happy with it 🤷‍♀️ I guess go and do it! Make sure it’s a hairdresser you trust!
Personally I wouldn’t do it, just do the big chop after the wedding Smiley smile

Personally, I would wait until after the wedding to make the change. It's only 2 more weeks. And if you decide against doing it 2 weeks from now, then it's probably good you waited anyway lol.

You should wait, don’t risk it!

Have you already done a hair and make-up trial? If so I would suggest not making any changes. My hair dresser said that she sees so many brides about a month after their wedding to make a dramatic change. I personally wouldn't do it, BUT if you would feel confident in a sassy new hairstyle go for it!!

I wouldn't recommend it. Two weeks is too son to experiement.

I’d wait. Even if you liked it before, you might wind up with a bad cut this time which would be terrible. 😭
