Why not to all of it? It is your day and you should be able to do the procession how you want. I say go for it. Your MOH can be whom you want.

It’s your day and you can do whatever you want. I’m also in my 50’s and recently married and I had my daughter be my MOH and my son walk me down the aisle. Maybe your DIL could do a reading or something. Do you think your daughter would be upset not being your MOH?

Hi Tina! Congratulations!! Welcome to Wedding Wire!
I'm also in my 50s and getting married for the first time in 148 days! Omg.
I think it's wonderful that you want to include in your ceremony. I'm doing that too! My beautiful 28 yr old daughter will be my maid of honor and my sweet granddaughter is my flower girl. She'll be just turned 3 at the wedding. I'm so happy they will be there with me. Enjoy your day! Happy planning!

I was maid of honor for my mom's second wedding, my brother was best man, and my sister was her other bridesmaid. Do what you want! No one batted an eye that we were up there with our mom. Congrats and good luck with planning!

I’ve been a single mom for most of my sons’ lives so I’m having my 21 year old walk me down the aisle. My 18 year old won’t really play a part besides just walking down the aisle with my FH’s 3 kids. I felt like it was more special than having my dad do it.
