Compromising is Key!

I would cut the souvenir shot glasses. Most people don’t care about favors and would rather have the alcohol the night of the wedding. The favors get buried in the back of the closet and never used and this is money in your budget for your bar.

Sorry you have such a hard time compromising. This is both our second marriages but the first time I eloped and he had a wedding so he let me take the lead. Our rings are two totally different styles because I honestly didn't care what he picked out. He has a lot of good ideas for when I get stuck or frustrated with something.

I agree with the others, pick out your own rings and cut the souvenir glasses and shot and pay for beer and wine for everyone instead!

There were things I didn't want but I let him have it aha.

Yes it is difficult to find the compromise with all the different things you have to plan and decide on. What I have done that has helped is give him tasks for him to do and let him have control over it and I just have to realize it is both of our days and not just mine. Also we get so caught up in trying to make it perfect and we forget to enjoy this time because it only comes once in our life (sometimes) lol

My FH is very understanding, but there are a few things we have had to talk about a lot. Usually, we just lay out exactly what we are thinking so the other person can understand, and if we don't agree still we do a little bit of both as a compromise.
