I think it is all up to you and your FH. There is really no rule that says they should be separate. If you guys are cool bringing all your friends together, I say go for it and have a great time. I am doing mine separate only because my FH doesn't have a lot of guy friends and to combine would be most of my friends. He would not want to be in a room full of women. Lol

We are doing a combined get together at Disney about a month and half before, so we can have fun and see a concert. We may do something the night before the wedding once friends get into town, but no idea... Neither of us is planning anything crazy for that night.

Smiley smile Sorry... You might not be... But in my personal experience... The Bride who can't bare to have a bachelorette without her future hubby... is.

So if the couple decides together that they want to combine parties, does that still mean only the bride is “needy”?

This comes off super judgmental. Everyone is different so I don’t think it’s fair to make that assumption.

Like I said - this was how it came off in my own personal experience with it. By no means did I say that every person who does this is needy. In my personal experience - it was because the bride couldn't stand to be away from her future hubby. And as a BM, we wanted some personal time with her.
