Colors Off?

We're renewing our vows in September. I paid for the dress & the alterations already but I go to pick it up June 1st. I am now having doubts. I'm hoping someone can reassure me. Do you think the blush dress will match the bouquet?

Thank you! I know all about that acne - I had it worse in my 30's than I did in my teens too. I was wearing acne cream on my face as I was putting my baby son to bed each night! (I was 34 when I had him.) far as a headpiece- try amazon. I bought everything there - they have a huge selection of headpieces and colors to choose from. Took me a while to find what I wanted and in the right color, but they have lots of styles and designs, and not expensive. You could spend hours browsing, which I did, for weeks and weeks, but I finally decided on something and returning the "rejects" was easy.

    It's beautiful & I love the lace.
My hair is horrible 😫 Frizzy & thick & I hate it. It will be for our 15th.

Thank you! That's not the photo I wanted, but I couldn't delete it. Here's the headpiece. I have a lot of fine wavy, frizz prone hair and I hate it too. But I'm going to the hairdresser that Saturday and they do a nice job. My hair is collar-bone length and I often wear it with the center section pulled back into a barrett or clip. That day, I'll wear it that way with the bow on the back of the top of my head, with the veil sort of poufed around it. And just btw, I since found a better fitting, more comfy pair of shoes that match the color better.

    Congratulations! Kids?

I had absolutely no idea of the process. Lol. I had to use Google. I've heard of an annulment before but not to be annulled to remarry in a catholic church.
On another note, I'll check out Amazon. Just need to figure out what color to get it in. I looked it up & it mentioned gold & silver work well with the blush color. And to be honest I love silver & I'm hoping it looks okay. Especially as I'll be wearing a necklace with some of my mom's ashes & that is silver. I want it all to match. To be more specific about the time frame, our anniversary is actually September 21st. But we're having it a bit early as we're having the ceremony on the beach & have to be careful of crazy weather during that month. Also September 8th, holds a special place to us as September 8,2007 is when he had first told me he loved me & asked me to be his girlfriend.

You're welcome! Actually that is the way I wore my hair back in high school.
That is cute. I'm so happy for you! Thank you! Yes, we have 2 sons. They will be walking me down the aisle.

Actually, I did too, lol! Oh, how wonderful! How old are they? Our son is Best Man, and his wonderful kids, a boy age 12, and a girl nearly 9, will bring the Offertory gifts to the altar during Mass. Our "reception" is a wedding dinner at a nearby elegant Italian restaurant for 8 of us hosted by MOH and her hubby: the two of us couples, the priest, and our son and grandkids. Are you having a reception?

They are 12 & 13. Italian sounds so good. You can never go wrong there! We're having marinated chicken breast, pork tenderloin with herb & pistachio crust, roasted baby potatoes & baked 3 cheese macaroni.
No, we're having a dinner. I kind of wanted a reception but the price is unbelievable, I'm assuming that is because it's a heavy tourist place & I kind of didn't want one because some of my in-laws get a bit crazy, not violent or anything, but the super crazy dancing. My grandmother (nanny) is a big Christian & a bit(okay, maybe more than a bit) judgemental & I think she'd have a heart attack ( I'm not even exaggerating). She's 75, has had heart surgery a few years ago. I figured with the dinner option, people could still drink a bit, have a big meal & the peace can be kept 😮‍💨(Our families are so different)

That's how you should feel - happy!! I've been obsessing over the small details since the one big detail, that our son/Best Man, and his kids, may not be here in time, but they will be, yay! My MOH/Best and Dearest Friend, is keeping me centered, and actually laughing- she emails me funny cartoons!

They're right about our grandson's age - he was 12 in March. I hope you post photos after the event! I am half-Italian but you're right, can't go wrong. The restaurant is "elegant", the food is fabulous, we've been there several times for parties and dinners, alone and with our friends, my MOH and hubby, who've gone there for years and know the owner well, and who are actually hosting our wedding dinner as their gift to us. (We would have protested but they were insistent, can well afford it which is not the point, and it would have been ungracious.) There will be 8 of us: them, us, the priest, our son and his 2 kids. So, except for the cake which my baker friend will make and deliver, we'll be ordering off the menu. Your menu sounds wonderful especially that pork crusted with herbs and pistachios - YUM!! And your dinner sounds like a good idea. I can't believe how much "receptions" cost - unbelievable!! We could have had a reception - my inlaws offered to pay, but we opted to buy the house instead. When our son got married, he was about to deploy to Afghanistan with his Marine Corps unit so he & his bride opted for a small beach wedding (he was in "dress blues", she in a traditional gown and veil) and a small reception in a nearby pub where everyone picked up their own tab. He wouldn't have wanted a big wedding anyway and sadly, his ex went "off the rails" after their 2nd child, and they were divorced about 8 years later. Long story short, she's on drugs, moved out of state illegally with some guy, and he's suing for full custody of the kids. Families, gotta love 'em, right? Smiley smile

That's awesome. Our oldest was born in February & our 2nd & last was born in April. The months line up. I love it! That's so sweet of them! We actually had a reception the first time around & it was crazy & a bit of a mess. Which is why this time it's only immediate family. But then it was close by. The reception hall only cost I believe $150? We bought the decorations and family helped set it up. So it wasn't expensive at all. So we got lucky. Oh wow... I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope your son & the children are doing well. I hope he gets full custody, if she's not even around, she doesn't deserve it. I wish them all the best!💙

I think it's kind of cute- somewhat reminds me of Legally Blonde (which is one of my favorite movies)
