Hey ladies, so my wedding date is September 26, 2020, and I was just curious on what some of your wedding colors would be? I have some in mind, but I feel like it’s constantly changing, or the bridesmaid dresses I like don’t come in a certain color. What are your thoughts? TIA! 💜

We got married last September 23rd and we didn't really have set colors. Mostly I chose colors for my florals.
Ultimately they ended up being cream, gold, gray, navy, wine. We actually used our favorite rug in our home to dictate these colors. Do what feels right for you and your future partner. If you want bright or summer colors, do what feels good for you.
I wore ivory, he wore gray. My best lady wore a satin navy dress, and his best man wore navy slacks and a white button down shirt with suspenders.
Ours are purples & metallics. Like someone else said, your colours can be whatever you'd like them to be. I wouldn't get too caught up in seasonal colours. Have fun with it!
9/20/20 here! my first decision was the venue. after that i joked that i wanted all black for my color scheme, with black dresses for bridesmaids. now im thinking we dont really need a bridal party! why fuss over having so many people when we dont even know who we would really want?! trying not to stress the details...YET lol
My wedding date is September 14, 2019. It’ll actually be on our 6 year anniversary! I’m doing a Beauty and the Beast theme. It’s going to be dark blue with some gold here or there. Red roses are going to be the flowers we are using! My niece is my flower girl and she will be wearing a Belle inspired ball gown. For center prices I’m stacking to books with things like clear tea pots, tea cups, candle sticks, or clocks on top with the red rose petals around. I’m having and upside down chandelier cake that’ll be gold to look more like an actual chandelier. I won’t have any character cutouts or anything. I don’t want it to seem like a birthday party. I will have a sign saying “Be Our Guest” so some things like that. We are doing it in a little white church. That’s the only thing my fiancé asked for. I’m super excited and can’t wait! If y’all have any ideas please share!
An orange and like plum would be pretty. With some like red and yellow. Really fallish. You could have a huge range of flowers and decor with those colors. If you want to stray away from fall colors you could do pastels. Maybe a mint and lavender.
It’s hard going with colors unless you have like a theme I guess?
ou could do royal colors if you want something fancy like a royal blue, emerald green, ruby red, or gold.
If you wanted to do rustic maybe oranges, reds, something that goes great with sunflowers would be gorgeous. Maybe some twine and beige coloring.
If you’re crazy like me and want a fairytale wedding just go along with whatever story you like. If it’s repunzel you can go by the movie and pair a dark and light purple with some yellow. Cinderella would be blue with some crystal stuff. Thinks like that.
Do you have a certain theme or idea you want to do?
Go with your gut and what best reflects your future spouse and yourself. We got married last September 23 and we had our best man and best lady (and our immediate families and grandparents) wear navy and white. My groom wore gray (wool linen herringbone with tons of texture). I wore white and my dress was super textured.
Our save the dates and invitations were navy, yellow, and cyan. For a while we wanted our florals to be neutrals with greenery. We attended about 5 weddings with the same floral palette so a month before our wedding we switched it up and used our favorite rug at home as inspiration for color theme.
Our wedding was in an industrial lofty space with exposed brick, wood floors, wood tables and mismatching chairs (some baby blue, some wood). So or color scheme mainly played a part in the florals more than anything else. We didn't have a themed wedding with the exception that it was a boozy brunch adults only wedding dance party.
Again, do what feels like you. Maybe talk with your future spouse if they like primarily warm colors or cool colors.
My wedding is in October and im doing burgundy so maybe like a dark blue would be pretty or if you like green like a darker green! Or even dark purple! Good luck!
Mine is September 21st, 2020! September 21st is (usually - depends on the belief system) the Autumnal Equinox/Mabon/Second Harvest Festival, and because my fiancé and I are both pagan/witch, we wanted our wedding to be on one of our holidays! It's a significant day for us, Mabon is a time when we take a few moments to honor the changing seasons, to find balance in our lives, and to celebrate hearth and home. The usual colours for Mabon are red, orange, gold, and brown (Autumn colours, obiously), so we wanted to incorporate some of that, and chose red, gold, cream, and black ^_^
Our wedding date will be September 5th, 2020 and our colors are fuchsia and yellow. Fuchsia because it’s my fiancé’s favorite color and yellow to go with the sunflowers🌻💖💛

Haha us too! We just pushed our date back about a month and a half because the heat. August can be brutal and we're having an outside ceremony/reception so for everyone's comfort and sanity we're looking at mid-Sept

Ours are sunflower yellow, sage with burgundy accents
I must be one of the few brides on here who doesn't have a theme, but my colors will be dusty rose, burgundy, and midnight blue. We're getting married next October in the evening. I just picked my favorite colors.
