Colored Wedding Dresses

Bold colored wedding dresses used to be the only option until the early 1900s. Now color is coming back in but it has always been an option overseas. I've seen some gorgeous wedding dresses on offbeatbride.com that don't have a stitch of white.

That is a bold choice to do yellow but I bet it will look lovely, my dress is ivory with a champange under leigh I love it , this is my second time getting married so I didn't want white

My dress is white, a colored wedding dress wouldn't have been a choice of mine personally. However I've seen some other brides on here that incorporated color and they were cute!

Yes ma'am, wearing a partially colored dress. I'm not a fan of white dresses either.

I'm not planning to wear anything in the white/cream/ivory spectrum since that color family is not flattering on me. I'm thinking about either dark or black.

i personally went traditional in the look of my gown but to be frank i love the look of nontraditional wedding stuff because it makes it all the more unique. wedding gowns all tend to just end up looking alike

Many of the dresses I've 'pinned' or 'saved' are white but come in other colors! I love the look of a blush colored dress or one with an overlay of a different color.

Mine is silver with an ivory lace overlay. I’m quite pale so anything white/ivory would just wash me out even more.

At first I started looking for white dresses and then I saw a few color dresses that caught my eye. Couldn't really find much in stores so I also started looking online. Ended up finding my dress on a resale site called Stillwhite. My dress is ivory and I'm so in love with it.

My dress is going to be ivory over whisper pink. Havnt seen it in person yet still waiting for it to come in!

I think this is fun! Yellow is an amazing color and you will pull it off. My friend had a red wedding dress, it was different but she pulled it off!

I had a lilac/lavender wedding gown! The color changed in the light. I LOVE/D it, and my bridesmaids wore white, so I flipped the tradition. Totally fun!

My dress is ivory with a gray underlay that I absolutely love !

Yes I love the color! My dress has blue florals with bush butterflies! It still feels bridal, but with some color!
