Color ideas

Navy and gold sounds so pretty! Could the groomsmen wear navy suits even if they aren’t dress blues? I think deep champagne would look pretty for BM dresses.

Hi Alexandra! I think that navy blue and gold would be beautiful! As for your bridesmaids, they could wear beige, champagne, or ever a dusty blue! Your groomsmen would look great if they also wore dusty blue or navy blue! Here are a few photos to help you visualize:

They look great with any color, except muddy yellow greens, mustard, olive, or bright oranges ( though softer apricot and peach nice.)

Not sure how you and your groom feel about pink but I think this color goes great with blue

Don't worry about trying to coordinate the bridesmaids dress with his uniform. A military/service uniform is functionally a neutral element. Even if it wasn't, he's the groom, there's no reason for him to match the decor or any other colors.

With that said, choose any color you like. If he was wearing a grey or black suit what would you have selected?

No need to match any uniform. Groomsmen can all be different, and he will stand out. Just as you the bride stand out from your bridesmaids. It is only a matter of not clashing, but no need to match. If the GM were all in different shades of blue, or greys varying from a light silver grey to a dark slate blue grey, the guys would look great together, which is the point. There is not/ has never been any need for people to match each other, except to increase bridal and formal wear company profits.

I would do Navy chiffon bridesmaid dresses with gold shoes! That would be stunning.
