CocoMelody?

OP i know i have plenty of time but I don't want to spend $400 on a dress I love online but get it and it be crap and not be able to return. That is why I'm following to see if anyone else used them.

@NinjaBride they are not a knock off company. They have their own lines and own designers. They have boutiques in LA, Japan, and the Netherlands. The designer in LA is named Puey and he is adorable. He designed me a custom veil to match my dress and a 50s style bolero to go with it all (I ordered that late so it isn't in yet). I cannot say nicer things about them.

@Desiree - do the made to measure dress sizing for the extra money. It is so worth it! Just make sure you have a good tailor measure you up. They will give you an insane amount of measurements to be taken, but you won't regret it! I cannot say enough about how awesome CocoMelody is!!!

BTW did you see the images I posted of my dress? The quality is much better than the DB or AA I was looking at! It is more like that Allure gown I was looking at.....but at 1/3 the cost!

@Desiree thank you! It was EXACTLY the dress I wanted - no bling, lace, 50s style ballgown in blush pink with buttons all the way down the back. Every other place I found 2 of 3 things I wanted, but not everything. Here I got everything! And with all the extras we paid less than 1k.

My bridesmaids got their dresses off Cocomelody and they're so beautiful... I glanced at the wedding gowns a few times and they look beautiful. I'd recommend custom sizing for sure. It's not a lot more expensive, and you know you'll need fewer alterations this way.

@Jessica, so far the only alterations I have needed done to my dress are having an extra layer on the petticoat (I am too tall for it) and my bustle!

Cancel that order now!!! No bride should have to live with a dress they do not love! I got my dress from CocoMelody and am absolutely in love with it! With customizations and alterations, my dress came out to $628. I got my dress in 6-8 weeks and it is beautiful! Dress pic attached is from when i initially tried on the dress in store. Good luck girl, you've got this!

@soontobe - I can say when i was in there on Sunday they had another 25 of that dress in! I have not seen a body type it HASN'T looked good on!! I kinda regret not trying it on. You look So Pretty!!!!

@IdahoBride I had an exceptional experience there and my dress is exactly what I wanted. I agree with Rebecca, do a custom order. I did the same and I have very few alterations as a result!

@Rebecca thank you! Great minds think alike, CocoMelody is the best!!!! This dress fits perfectly with my vintage garden theme and I'm geeking out about the quality of this dress. They're on point.

Let me say a few things about Customer Service when it comes to CocoMelody. A bride who is larger, got the same dress at SoontobeMarchi. Since she was measured up in February, she has lost a lot of weight. 35 lbs and over 6 inches off her bust and 7 off her waist. There was no way to alter the dress to fit.

The manager came out and as so happy for her that he offered to order her a brand new made to measure dress - for free - because he was so proud of the work she had put into her weight loss. She cried. You will NEVER see that level of service at a DB.

I went to DB and got a refund on my dress. Ironically my dress was delivered to the store that morning. I started having second thoughts because I could have just picked it up and had one huge thing marked off of my checklist but I didn't.

I'm waiting on my refund to hit my account then I'm placing my order. I'm going to go with custom sizing. I soooo hope that I don't regret this lol

This story is so, so heartwarming! I've heard very few negative reviews of them. But this.... this is the kind of service that makes me want to give my money to them and support their business. If I wasn't sure before I think I am now.
I'm pretty excited to quasi-design my own dress - and for such a great price! I have swatches on their way to me now.

DS5, I don't regret my CocoMelody dress for one second. They even used a 1950s pattern I had and made a jacket for it so I had a more vintage feel. If anyone ever thinks of getting their wedding gown from there, I will have nothing but good things to say about them.
