Yes it was a big hit! It wasn’t cheap but the guests loved it so that’s what was important to us.

Did you do it yourselves or have it prepared by the caterer? I would love to know your thought process if you designed it (how much of each item per person, who sets it out/restocks/cleans up) or any items you would exclude if doing it again? (Anything that just became a mess?)

Wow! I had never thought of this, or heard of it before. But it's a great idea!! I'm going to contact my caterer to see if this is possible for my wedding! Thanks for the idea!

It looks great. Have a bigger assortment of veggies for the non-meat/dairy eaters. Get a price quote from your caterer because some are inexpensive while others are not.

My concern is how do you pick up the foods without getting fingers dirty/greasy with fancy clothes or touching food that someone else will be eating? I've never seen utensils of any kind with these layouts for picking up food. That's a health dept violation whether there's a pandemic going on or not.

I am definitely gonna have disposable utensils for my guest so they don’t have to physically touch the food or get theirs hands dirty....plus I will be having a server

I'm doing this! It's part of my package with our caterer for the hour we arranged between ceremony and reception for pictures and whatnot. We're having the ceremony and reception at the same location, so it's something to occupy the guests and keep them from being too starved waiting for the meal to be served 😉

The very same reason why I am doing the charcuterie table because the ceremony and reception is going to be at the same venue and I don’t want my guest starving...
