Cocktail hour appetizers

Is the Pizza bar the main course or is this during the cocktail hour?

Breadsticks with different dipping sauces... Pretzels and cheese(you could even do a beer-cheese) wings,, mozzarella cheese sticks

Is it gourmet pizza? I'm wondering how they will keep it warm? ETA: love the PP idea

Well our venue is all inclusive so everything will be made freshly and then immediately brought out.

The pizza bar is the main course. FH's one and only request is being fulfilled and he's being surprised with it so I'm pretty excited about it.

I second the breadsticks (maybe smaller sized though) or wings!

I just want to say I would be so damn excited about a wedding with a pizza bar!!! I find wedding food kinda gross usually, no matter how much the bride and groom splurged on it. I went to a wedding once that was 80 bucks a plate and it was all terrible. I would of much rather had pizza lol As for your question, I would do breadsticks with different dipping sauces, cheesy bread/garlic bread, maybe some lighter things like fruit and cheese and crackers

I'm from St Louis so toasted ravioli would be at the top of the appetizer list...

Fruit, veggie, cheese crackers and dips are always a good call with pizza as dinner will be really carb heavy. Anti-pasta would also be good for that.

Wings?

Salads/ veggies, something with meat...buffalo chicken bites, or mini sliders even. I love pizza but I'd want something else.

Boneless wings, fruit salad or skewers, mozz sticks, a veggie platter or those cute cocktail cups with dip or hummus at the bottom and assorted veggies in it...see pic

As a guest, I would love this. As PP have said, sometimes I get so sick of "typical" wedding food. This sounds goooood. As for appetizers, bruschetta, mini breadsticks, spinach rolls, soft pretzels and beer cheese, boneless wings, even mini meatballs

With the pizza bar, just make sure you have an alternative for anyone who is lactose.

For your apps, make sure you have at least one vegetarian app. I would probably serve bruschetta, meatballs, chicken parm sliders, buffalo chicken bites, mini sausage and peppers sandwich, rice balls, or mozzarella/tomato skewers as passed apps that would complement pizza. Wings would probably be too messy. Consider a stationary display of Italian meats and cheeses.

Mini tacos too. Someone at my house was talking about taco pizza last night. Apparently it's amazing

Risotto balls, caprese sticks, coconut shrimp, sliders, tacos, bacon wrapped asparagus, ceviche...

Pasta, breadsticks, garlic bread, boneless wings, cheese bread, etc

Chicken wings, cheese/bread sticks, lil smokies, anything like that would be great!
