Are you planning to lean in for a smooch every time your guests clink their glasses? Or are you skipping this? Photo by Ahlin Photography in CA Next Question: Bouquet Toss: Yea or Nay? Or start over from the beginning: Yea or Nay?

I was thinking that the first time the glasses get clinked we'll kiss but afterwards have the DJ pick a random couple from the guests to kiss instead of it always being us, especially since we really don't want all the attention to be on us. (We understand its our wedding day and the attention will be on us anyway).

I've actually considered having signs that asks guests to do something else besides clinking glasses. We have some individuals coming (including myself) that could have some serious health conditions flare up if all that clinking goes on. so we're trying to avoid it at all possible.

I saw one sign on etsy that said you had to sign instead of clink a glass if you want the bride and groom to kiss. We couldn't do that, but than again it could be funny.

My husband hates the "clink for a kiss" thing so much, he was THRILLED that our cutlery and cups were all plastic so nobody could do it lmao

Not even a little bit. FH and I have talked a lot about this and we're going to have a "kissing menu". Where our guest have to preform a silly dance, demonstrate a kiss for us to copy, get their whole table to sing or contribute to our honeymoon fund... silly things like that. We've both been to several wedding where there was clinking every 5 minutes and you could tell all the couple wanted to do was get one bite of food down before another clink.

That could be fun!! Someone said that they had guests sing a short song or do a dance if they wanted a kiss, which could be funny!!
