Cleaning your ring

I clean mine at home whenever it’s looking dirty. I use a bowl of warm water, a squirt of dr bronners soap and a very soft toothbrush. My ring isn’t very delicate or I would get it professionally cleaned

Um... I’ve had mine since May and haven’t had it cleaned yet. I guess I should?

I pop on the ultrasonic jewelry cleaner with water and a little dish soap once a month, 3X cycles. Comes out sparkling.

My wedding band gets a podium finish every 6 months. My engagement ring, I have my husband clean at work in the ultra sonic cleaner they have. I also do in home cleaning with the solution we were gifted when he bought my e ring.

About every 6 months I clean it at home with jewlery cleaner we got at CVS. My ring is platinum and has a square setting. If it was a softer metal and less secure setting I'd be less likely to do it at home.

The jeweler we purchased our rings from will clean our rings for free, but it's hard for me to get there because it's in the opposite direction from work! I try to bring in my ring to get professionally cleaned there at least 2-3 times a year, and in between I have a Bling Brush stick I carry around in my purse for cleaning on the go and have a jewelry cleaner from Connoisseurs to clean my rings at home!

The independent jeweler where FH got my ring told me to bring it in about every 3 months, or whenever I want, to get it cleaned. I usually will take it in when we have an event to go to or holiday party or something.

The jeweler advised me to clean it at home, to put it in a pot of boiling water that also has a little ammonia in it (I use vinegar) for a few minutes. And, to only make sure that the water doesn't boil down to nothing. My ring is platinum with a diamond and smaller diamond/sapphire accents.

I have an ultrasonic cleaner on our registry.

I get it professionally clean and checked to make sure it isn't loose every six months. Just had it done today.

I’ve never had my ring cleaned. I hope to do so a couple of weeks before the big day.
