Church Decorations

Alot of times if you try to hide something, you end up drawing more focus to it. Do you have pictures of the venue space and what you want to disguise? You can cover an entire wall very inexpensively with sheer fabric and clear Christmas lights.

Maybe I'm being too hard on the space. It's not the worst I guess lol. It's just hard to see this as a beautiful wedding so far.

Ask if they can temporarily remove the banner and faux greenery, as well as relocate the other signage and whatnot. Cover the walls clear Christmas lights behind sheer fabric..attached to the walls with command strips. Otherwise once you get it decorated it won't look like the same space.

I agree with basically everything Michelle said lol. Get some table cloths with runners and do nice centerpieces, that’ll take away from some of the “ugly.” My best friend used a hall VERY similar to this and she honestly didn’t do too much to the walls, but the centerpieces were nice and make it look a bit prettier.

Oh that's not too bad. I would make sure all of the clutter is hidden away and just really dress up the tables. It has some natural light and doesn't seem to have any gym lines or basketball hoops. It'll be fine

Hi! I think this space is pretty amazing! If you wanted to use it, that staircase would be make a beautiful entry point for your Mr. & Mrs. Introduction. Some greenery and floral flowing down the handrails would make it pop. I really like the seating area with that furniture by the window. It wouldn't work for photos (unless it's dark out), but would make a nice spot for a sweetheart table. What kind of tables/chairs will be available? Table linens and a nice centerpiece/s will look great. We've been to plenty of functions in a space like this. I never once thought it looked "ugly". The company of friends and family is what we enjoyed. Best of luck, I'm genuinely excited to see how you decorate! ☺
