This could be a dumb question, but if I can't ask it here then where can I ask it? Y'all always seem to make me feel better. How did you choose your wedding colors? Are they just your favorite colors or do you just feel they fit best with the season? I seriously have not had an easy decision this...

I seriously have not had an easy decision this entire planning process. From our venue, to our wedding party, to the colors it's all been difficult.

My favorite color is purple and our original wedding date was in May. I planned on our colors being lilac, grey, and dusty blue. Now that we're getting married in December, I'm unsure of what to do. I found some colors I liked, burgundy and mauve, but I still really love the idea of lilac. I just don't know how I would incorporate that in because originally it was my main color. What do y'all think?

Don't stress! It'll come to you and you still have time. I actually love that color combo. Because of the amazing ladies on here, I sent these inspiration pics to my mom last night. I'm pretty sure I've decided on colors similar to these! Thank you so much!

I didn't even think about that! That'll be a huge perk for me at the end of spring to find tons of things in my color & I think I might do burgundy too!

I was open to whatever color scheme. Then the venue we selected ended up having one distinct color for the ceremony room and another distinct color for the reception room. So that automatically dictated our wedding color schemes (which will coincide with each different room).

I think that you should use whatever colors you want to use. I don't think that you need to use traditional seasonal colors.

I want to keep our wedding very simple and we're going to be getting married outside so we'll be surrounded by green (grass and trees). I like the idea of using white and blush pink or white and light blue.

Personally, I'd forget about the seasonal colors. Do what makes YOU happy. Remember, you're going to look back on your wedding photos and see the colors. Besides, I think Lilac would be a pretty winter color Smiley winking
My favorite color is burgundy and my fiance's is blue so we're doing Navy and Burgundy for our wedding in March

We used inspiration picks and after we thought - yes! Then we picked from it which color the girls would wear. I ended up with peach for a late June wedding. Rose gold accents to match my E-ring and champagne and gray for neutrals. So one color, one metal, and 2 neutrals. Smiley smile And yes, we made sure it worked with our venues and our girls (They all doubted me at first, but then they all thought it was the perfect shade to work for them!).
