Choosing a song to walk down the aisle

It's very nontraditional, but I really want to walk down the aisle to "I wanna grow old with you" by Adam Sandler from "The Wedding Singer" it's one of my favorite movies and that scene makes me cry every single time. It's a beautiful, yet silly and quirky song

You can walk down the aisle to whatever you want. There aren't any requirements.

I walked to "A Thousand Years" by The Piano Guys. I just really loved the instrumental.

Definitely go with what makes you happy! My SIL walked down to "Sunglasses at Night", while wearing polarized aviator sunglasses, lol!

I'm walking down the aisle to Marry Me by Train. I was just listening to a playlist of wedding songs and I just knew when I got to that one.

...Maybe stay away from songs that sing about cheating or missing an ex, though... That might be awkward.

I'm not a huge fan of words,i find it to be kind of distracting when the bride walks down the aisle. i really like classical songs. My favorite composer (for wedding songs) is Brian Crain i'm walking down the aisle to butter fly waltz,he has tons of other great songs. Also alot of songs have orchestra versions.

I chose a song that FH axed as a first dance song. Ellie Goulding "How Long Will I Love You". It says everything I feel and is so lovely!

I am choosing the classic Canon In D. Because as a middle school girl I remember having a ballet teacher who was engaged and she would play it while we warmed up before class. I have always dreamed of my moment walking down the aisle to canon in D since then.

It sounds cheesy, but I'm walking down the aisle to Beyonce's XO - because the music video reminds me of the dates FH and I used to take to Coney Island in the summer. Not particularly a huge fan of Beyonce, but the song has sentimental value.

I think it can be something you love that makes you happy. If you're looking for a way to class it up a bit, you can search for the instrumental version by Vitamin String Quartet or The Piano Guys. They make Eminem sound classy.

I was originally planning to go with the traditional wedding march, but at the Ed Sheeran concert we went to, he leaned over and whispered in my ear that if he had a choice, I'd walk in to that song during Tenerife Sea. The first words are 'You look so beautiful in your dress.' After I listened to it a few more times, I decided to surprise him by entering in to that. I'm really excited to see his face when it comes on

I stuck with the traditional stuff before the ceremony. There is no questioning what is happening when that song comes on. I like simplicity. Pick what makes you happy!

I chose a song that basically describes how I think my FH feels I Found Love by Bebe and Cece Winans

We have a guitar soloist for the ceremony and he is going to play "Mess is Mine" by Vance Joy. That song is just so US and I get emotional thinking about it

I'm walking down the aisle to 1000 Years by The Piano Guys. Everything I listened to by them was amazing though.

1000 years by Christina Perri is actually our first dance song... Is it ok to have it as the entrance song as well? I think it would be nice and tie in well. Hope guests don't find it weird...thoughts?

I'm doing I Will Always-Lawson Bates. My mom is obsessed with the tv show Bringing Up Bates and called me crying when she heard the song lol
