Help..My bridesmaids will be wearing a chocolate brown dress and I am having the hardest time finding a chocolate shoe that does not look like it belongs to my grandmother, or one that does not look like they are about to go stand on a street corner...Any suggestions? I need them to be less than 4...

My wife was a bridesmaid in a wedding with the chocolate brown dress and wore a silver shoe. It was understated, didn't take from the effect of the dress and looked great. The colors for the wedding were brown, green and orange.

Nude Shoes!! they go with everything. I wouldn't do brown… there's a reason you can't find any ;-)

My girls are wearing navy with nude shoes. It also helped that two of the three already had them.

You could do a metallic, like bronze...but my sister wore a deep pink shoe (all of her accessories were dark pink) with her chocolate brown dress and she looked gorgeous.

I love the dress!!! I also think a gold shoe would look really elegant with the chocolate brown @ColorofLove
