Cheesecake Factory Reception

Renee, on December 16, 2019 at 5:20 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 1 12
Hi 👋🏼

I was wondering if anyone here has had their reception at the Cheesecake Factory? How was the experience? Did it still feel like a reception?
It’s my number one choice since we’ve cut back our budget. So far things sound good with them, however I don’t want to feel like I’m missing out on this whole wedding experience by having it there...
Bonus points if you have pictures.Even more bonus points if you had it at the downtown Denver location.
Thanks all!

I have not had/been to a reception there but I can say their cocktails are fantastic and their food delicious, so as a guest I would be stoked to attend a wedding there. And as long as the room is filled with love and celebration, any space will feel like a great wedding space.

I'm always a fan of restaurant weddings, even if it's a chain restaurant.

I have never been to a wedding there
I agree that, as a guest, I would be stoked to go to a wedding at the Cheesecake Factory! The food, cocktails, and obviously dessert there are amazing!

So I used to work there and yes I've seen wedding receptions. My main concern for you is that it can get expensive quick. I would work with the restaurant to come up with a limited menu for your guests to choose from to minimize the ordering time (that giant menu is no joke) and to stay in budget. You should also think about the cost of the alcohol as well, because again, it can add up quick. I don't have a solution for you for that one unfortunately. You may ask your guests to limit to 2 drinks person, but that really rely on the servers' ability to keep track. You could say that the guests pay for their own drinks, in which case you have to let the servers know ahead of time and the guests HAVE TO STAY IN THEIR SEATS, so they can keep track of the bills. In any case, please top your servers well, because large parties are hectic, and likely you will be their only table Smiley smile

Does your Cheesecake Factory location have a private room? Ours does not. I would be concerned about having a reception in the main restaurant.

Thank you for that advice!!! And We definitely will tip well. Smiley smile
Also our Cheesecake Factory has an event planner who has sent over a limited menu already. (Which I was thankful for) she gave us seated, family style or buffet style to pick from but the menu is much smaller than their massive one they offer normally. I was worried our guests would be overwhelmed. The drinks though... I’ll have to look back at an email. There was something to that but can’t remember....

Yes! It has two rooms they’ll combine for a more traditional reception. I wouldn’t want looky-lou’s or to disturb other guest with our party

Oh Good. I just don’t want it to feel like just a dinner out. I still want that reception feel with out becoming wedding poor lol

That’s what I’m hoping their restaurants are really beautiful too. I feel like their menu, even the limited one we were quoted, would still please everyone. No one should go hungry
