Hey Ladies!
I'm about eight months out. It was smooth sailing out of the gate. We got engaged in February, and we booked most of our vendors early on.
We are making payments on the venue and honeymoon, and we have almost all of the 15k budget in our savings account.

I've run the gamut on every emotion possible! Ha ha . Super excited and now the stress has slowly started to creep into eveyday life.

I lost my Mama two years ago, I'm worried that my wedding won't be as nice, as she would have done. But, I'm forging ahead anyway.

I'm doing my own silk flowers and I can't wait to get started.
I have started dreaming about the wedding, but so far no nightmares.

I need a little happy distraction, so please let me know where you are in the process and how you are handling things.

For the brides that have gone before me, thanks for the inspiration. For the newly engaged , and brides after me...hang in there! We can do this!😘

    For sure I just think I'm getting anxious and over thinking things. I think I might put a little bit of bead work at the top too. I've got enough time to do it if I keep it simple.

    Ps we all worry about our arms, I say rock what you have! I am. I have a skin discoloration on my arms, due to the medication I took for endometriosis.
    I'm still wearing a ballerina top.
    I'm doing the 5 mins to great arms DVD. It is what it is, but it's me.
    Don't be ashamed of who you are❤ ditch that cover up and shine!

    Thank you and yes I agree it's just working through the remaining trauma from my first marriage. I've discussed my dreams with my fiance and he's really helped me through so much of it. Thankfully I only have the dreams every once and I'm still really loving the wedding process. I'm also thankful that my fiance is enjoying it too.

    2 days out!!! Currently feeling every emotion..mainly stress because they are calling for thunderstorms and we have an outdoor venue planned. We have backup, it’s just now what I want.
    The whole planning and engaged phase goes so fast!! It may feel like a long time saying how many months left, but it flies!
    Dont stress over the small details. This is the best advice I have been given (even though I don’t always listen). There’s so many things that are not necessary and easy to cut to save budget.

    I'm a little less than three months out and I'm so excited! We have the big things out the way, so now just waiting for the little details like the RD to come together

    Thank you! I keep looking over the WeddingWire checklist and it seems to be so as well but I think it's just cause I'm antsy and just want to keep going but I literally can't! lol

    3 and a half weeks to go. The only big thing left to get is the booze. Fiancee is working on-call hours next week/part of the following week, so two really good checks and we'll take care of that. I have to make my card box and put together the centerpieces. PIck up my dress the 11th. Not much else to do but try and relax and enjoy the next couple of weeks. I do have to go by the venue and figure out where to have the altar area for the wedding since we're doing both in the same place. That'll take a half hour tops....

    Hi!! I'm new to the site and to the forums, but I joined cause I wanted to be apart of a community while planning and getting ready for the big day (6 months away for me!). It can be so stressful to get everything planned... I'm also graduating from my undergrad 17 days before the wedding day 🙈 so it's been last semester stress on top of everything too. I also lost my mom like a year and a half ago, she and I were really close and though I feel like I've done of healing, I am missing her terribly now and hope the big day will still be good without her there. Anyway, sorry that was lot but I just wanted to share and I can relate with the loss of your mom, and its a lot but I think the best we can do is try our best to live our lives to make our moms proud ❤️

    9 months to go exactly!! 6/27/20

    We are currently completing our guest list for the Save the Dates and finalizing that design with our stationary vendor. We hope to have those Save the Dates mailed out in the next few weeks.

    Booking our Bridal Party Air BNB cottage for wedding weekend in the next week or so and will be sending out that information to my bridal party once it's booked. We had all previously discussed cost per person and everyone approved of a set amount, I just had to find one close to the venue and with space. I found the perfect one this week and have been in touch with the owner who seems super sweet and has great reviews.

    FH will be picking out his suit for himself and his GM's next month so we can finalize wedding party colors, we originally wanted hues of blue but the tuxes at Men's Warehouse were awful for the colors we wanted so we had to change to burgundy/pinks. However, yesterday we came across a Bridal Boutique who uses another nation wide vendor and they have more choices so we might be able to return to the blues for the girls.

    NON WEDDING RELATED...I'm taking a girl's trip to Budapest to celebrate my MOH's 30th birthday and then heading over to Dublin to celebrate another Bridal party member's 25th birthday!! I'm so excited to travel with my girls, wedding planning/saving has taken a large chunk out of our travel budget.
