Cheap ok Venues (don’t be afraid to get creative)

Ty, on January 19, 2018 at 4:11 PM Posted in Oklahoma Planning 1 11
Alright, I’ve been looking for the right venue for over a year. I need some ideas! (otherwise this may become a backyard wedding hahaha) Oklahoma brides: any suggestions for a VERY reasonable wedding location? Preferably under $1000 Thanks in advance!

How many people and what part of the state? I had a casual, urban, food truck wedding at Urban Art Studios/Blue Sage glassblowing in OKC. It was very reasonably priced, but it also didn't have all the usual wedding venue amenities.

Also, if you're in OKC, check out Lycan Conservatory. Again, it doesn't have alllll the amenities, but it's lovely. The only reason I didn't choose it was because it was being renovated last year.

Anywhere in central OK. I’m in Guthrie, but I wouldn’t mind traveling a bit for a good price.
Thank you, Kelly! I will be sure to check out those places

Look up the centennial house in OKC. Super cheap to rent out but you have to bring in everything!

I'm getting married at Old Trinity in Paseo. It's a tiny chapel but friggin' adorable. haha. We're renting it hourly and I think we're at $900 for six hours. It was more than I wanted to spend but it includes the tables and gold Chiavari chairs. We'll have our ceremony and reception there. I also like the Red Barn out in Arcadia but I worried about our out of town guests getting lost. haha. The Red Barn was $400-600 (I can't remember exactly) for the whole day but didn't include anything. Good luck! Smiley smile

Thank you all soooo much!!!! Btw I am so excited for you! I found a venue in Guthrie at the Drexel Event Center! It’s like $500 for 3 days (1 before for setup, 1 for day of, and one after for cleanup-it was a steal!) and it’s perfect for our little ceremony 😁. Happy weddings lovelies!

Baugh's Country View in Drumright, OK. It's $1,000 for one day and $1,500 for 2 days. Look them up on Facebook. Holds up to 320 guests
