Cheap indoor grand exit ideas?

Erin, on October 25, 2018 at 4:00 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5

Oops, posted this in the wrong forum! Now it's in the right place.

Hi, everyone.

So originally I was debating between a candlelight grand exit and a sparkler exit, and then I looked at our budget and I said......neither of them Smiley xd

Our reception is taking place in the social hall of the church we're marrying in. The wedding is in December in Michigan, so I don't want to make people go outside, and I really don't want to have to spend money on anything or create a big clean-up situation for the guests who are staying behind. Do any of you have any ideas for how me and my FH can exit (and maybe get some cute photos) without having to buy anything, make a mess, or go outside?

Photos of examples are appreciated!

Hi Erin! A few ideas are to use ribbons, balloons, tinsel, glow sticks, and even pompoms! They are all easy and affordable ideas for a send-off! Do you have a specific theme or color in mind you'd like to incorporate?

    Hi Erin.
You sound like me...really into the sparklers but concerned about cleanup and cost. I looked into bubbles, glow sticks or all glow products or do the "london bridges" (everyone across from someone, palm to palm to form a bridge) and have your photographer on the end snapping pics as you guys walk through. Inexpensive if you get your stuff from Dollar store or free if you do the London bridge. Good luck! 👍

Try checking the clearance aisles at the dollar store. That’s where I got mine .50 for 2 and I had a coupon. Drip protectors are 10.00 on amazon for 100. And not every person needs to have one I got 80 and my sister said if there’s people without them they can use their light on their phone.

I like the idea of ribbon wands with bells. You could scrounge up the ribbons from family and friens, get sticks from outside and only have to buy the bells.

I am doing ribbons for ours when we come out of the church since we are not allowed to throw anything!
