I spent about $10 per packet for the blue, I only needed 6 pomanders and I didn't use all of the 5 packets I bought. Now, the white I got for $2 per package I just bought the bigger pack and I didn't even use all of that one either.

The tissue paper pomanders are really pretty and I was planning to do them at first, but there were a few things that made me change my mind. 1) Tissue paper is SO delicate that I'm afraid they would get smooshed in storage, in transport, or by a clumsy guest. 2) If they get wet, they're ruined. 3) It took me FOREVER to make one of them....seriously, hours upon hours upon hours. 4) All the tissue paper started adding up and it would have been far more expensive than I wanted.

I decided to make fabric pomanders instead, and I personally like the look much better. Instead of buying fabric by the yard, I bought super-clearance sheets and cut them up. Mine look almost identical to the ones in the photo. If you want more info or a step-by-step, PM me!

OOOoooo The fabric ones look good... I PMd you. Are they easier? Cheaper??

I want 3 on the end of every other row on both sides so i am thinking I need to make 48!!! OMG!! I was going to enlist help from the bridal party, but sounds like it might be too much work!!

Just sent you the longest e-mail in history. Smiley smile They're definitely both easier and cheaper, for me at least. DEFINITELY enlist help from the bridal party...even FH can help with this one! My fiance and 26 year old brother spent a long time cutting out circles with me...and were pretty damn proud of themselves for coming up with a better strategy to do it.

But again I am not sure how the fabric ones would work for what I am doing. I attached a exmaple one. I am using Guava colored tissue...
