Chat with a possible vendor

Lynne, on August 9, 2019 at 11:16 PM Posted in Planning 0 4

So, I have been communicating with a representative for a venue we are liking the pictures and price. I informed them multiple times that I am only looking for a venue for the ceremony because other arrangements have been made for the reception. The rep keeps mentioning about their catering services.

I just sent an email asking if catering is a must in order to rent the location for a ceremony and pictures. I am really hoping that catering is not a must.

We like what we have seen online. It is at a rose garden. I am crossing my fingers about not having to have catering. But, now for me to be patient.

A rose garden sounds beautiful! I hope everything works out so you can book that location!

Be prepared for a 'no'.if you are looking to book your ceremony on a day/time that is perfect for a 'full' wedding.

A venue is not going to book out their ceremony space and make zero dollars on catering for, say, a 4pm Saturday ceremony, when they can get a bride and groom willing to take the full package for that same time.

I am prepared. But I can still be hopeful.
