Changing for the reception???

Dana, on June 19, 2021 at 12:07 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 11

At first I feel like I want to get my moneys worth out of my dress and wear during the reception, and then I kinda want to change but Im having a hard time finding something cute to change into! Does it necessarily have to be white??

HeySmiley smile I felt the same way! I decided to get two dresses because I have always dreamed of a ball gown and my mom felt that a mermaid style would fit better for the reception. After looking at dresses I actually found two that I loved. My ceremony dress is white and reception is ivory/white. You can wear what ever color you fall in love with! it's your day 🥰 Also you can have 1 or 2 dresses what ever makes you happy❤️ I found my second dress originally close to 4k for only $600 on stillwhite and that was truly what made me go for having a second dress. Best wishes 🥳🌷

Maybe you can change into the dress that was your number two choice. The dangers of wearing something non white or shorter is wearing something similar or the same as guest. But there are tons of evening gown options out there.

None of my gowns will be white.

No it definitely doesn't have to be white. I've seen many people change into different color dresses!

You definitely don’t have to wear white. My plan is to wear my dress to the first part of the reception and then change into a white or black bikini that says “Bride.”

It doesn't have to be white. My ceremony dress is a ivory/champagne mermaid dress. I'm going to wear it through half of the reception but then I'm changing into this so that I can dance and be comfortable. Just an example but I'm having it made to fit me by a friend who is going to add some bling.Changing for the reception??? 1

You can definitely change for the reception and the dress doesn’t need to be white! I’m changing out of my wedding dress for the reception because my wedding dress is beautiful but it’s just not practical for moving around. I’m afraid I’d pop out of it and I won’t be wearing anything under it! So I’m just going to take it off and slide into a beautiful print slip dress. Do what makes you comfortable!

Are you seriously going to change into a bikini at your reception? Where is this reception?
