Changing corset back to zipper

I’m considering changing my corset back to a zipper. Did anyone else do this with their dress? I’m wondering how much something like this will cost. My dress doesn’t come in until October so I won’t be seeing a seamstress anytime soon where I can ask.

I have no idea how much it would cost but perhaps you could call around to find out? I'm sure it will vary though, as a simple dress would be cheaper than one with a lot of folds or layers to it.

My friend did the opposite and had a corset put in where the zipper was. I remember the seamstress said that cost a lot more than having it removed. I think it’s fairly simple as long as the two sides touch and you don’t need it let out. Even though you don’t have your dress, you should still be able to call and get an estimate.

Even though you don't have your dress, you could certainly still call around and inquire with a couple of seamstresses how much something like this would cost.
Do you have pictures of the back of the dress in case they would like to see it before providing an estimate?
