Change of outfit for grand exit?

I am changing because we have a drive to make to our next destination and I can't pack a wedding dress onto a plane.. But its really just how you feel about it.

I think you should do what makes you the most comfortable. Personally I would stay in my wedding dress ALL night! I have what I feel is the most perfect dress and want to get my money's worth out of it!

Brides typically change either to be more comfortable during the evening or because they're traveling. But to change for the sake of changing and to wear something different for the "exit" doesn't make much sense. I wouldn't worry about it especially 3 days before.

I have to agree with Mrs. S- I was thinking about changing into the dress I bought for the RD at the very end of the wedding (we're not doing a grand exit) just because I thought it might be easier to help clean things up ... I decided against it because I want to wear my dress as long as possible!

I don't understand when women change for their reception! You have one day to wear this beautiful dress, why wear it only for a couple hours? I told my FH I may sleep in mine hahahah. So I wouldn't worry about an exit dress that just sounds silly!

Thanks for all the advice ladies this helps me out alot. I was thinking the same thing........I paid all this money for this dress and dangit I'm wearing it for as long as I can! And like Rebecca L. stated I might even sleep in it!! LOL!! We aren't leaving for the honeymoon until Sunday night so it's not like we are rushing off afterwards and I need to change into something for the ride. I think everyone who has been telling me this is silly!
