Champagne toast?

So my venue doesn't provide the food or drinks and I'm beginning to plan for our alcohol purchase. We're having a signature cocktail for the cocktail hour and hard liquor, beer, wine and soda for the remainder of the reception. But I'm now thinking about the toast and wondering how many folks who are purchasing their own liquor are also purchasing champagne or a separate champagne-like beverage i.e. sparkling wine, proseco, etc. or just having guests toasts whatever drink they have at the appropriate time.
