Chair sashes without chair covers?

Kris, on April 18, 2010 at 11:07 AM Posted in Planning 0 9

I was wondering if anybody has any pics of chairs with bows but no chair covers- the sashes are affordable but the covers are crazy expensive. would that look stupid?

    It depends on what your chair looks like? I can order them for you whole sale (both chair covers and sashes). Usually less than they cost to rent them and there yours to keep!

    @Kristen

    You can get affordable chair covers - http://www.linentablecloth.com/chair-covers-and-sashes/chair-covers.html and they have 30% off with FREE ship.

    But in any case - you can ABSOLUTELY do it. For example sashes would look nice on White convertible chairs OR metal black chairs

    Also I am not doing Covers OR Sashes at all. I will have those nice "bamboo-looking" chairs with "bamboo" altar and will have enough for linens and flowers for the setup to be pretty. I really don't like chair covers! Looks shapeless and Sashes to me are too traditional - I like contemporary.

    It really looks awesome. I had two receptions one in my hometown and one in Canada were my husband and i live now. Chair covers were to expensive so we did sashes in houston and bows in Canada. I personally liked the bows better and we did those ourselves. I would put something on the chairs.

    I did yellow chiffon sashes on Bamboo chairs with a more contemporary tie (not a regular bow)! Looked wonderful! See attached pictures.
