We have locked down our venue but we have a slight dilemma... the chairs. 😩 The venue provides the large white folding chairs and they are hideous. So, first question, DO THE CHAIRS MATTER? I think so because it is the overall presentation. Now, with that being said the venue is a steal, so we can splurge a little on extra things, like chairs. But then it comes back to Chiavari or Garden Chairs. 🤔 Someone with style — help. I have included pictures of all the chair styles and our venue. What ‘cha think?

I definitely agree. We have decided to go with the chiavari. This moment only happens once (or twice for us)!

It is upscale for a vow renewal but husband wants all the bells and whistles we didn’t have the first time. Chiavari is taken the win.

I chose the chairs in the middle. The rental company tried to sway me towards the free ones that are in your first pic because they are more budget friendly, but they showed me sample pics of the free chairs in the venue and I found them to be really unappealing distracting! But that’s just me!

I know the colors are a little different from yours but I just wanted to give you the visual of what I was talking about. 😂 I just think the others look nicer in the photos; the folding chair pic was taken in the space that I will be having my ceremony in, and they dull down the beautiful atmosphere for sure. I think it’s worth it but I might just be choosing a weird thing to be detail oriented about 😂

Are the ceremony chairs and reception chairs the same?
i don't think the chairs matter to be honest! i'm surprised they have those folding chairs and not like all white ones. but if you hate them and its in the budget i think the $3.50 is a good choice in all white.

I'm the person who notice's chairs in wedding photo's. It's totally up to y'all and whats important for you on that day and if the chairs will bother you. We are using chairs similar to the one in the middle for our ceremony and then using the chairs included at our venue for our reception as they were not the most awful to me or FMIL. If you are not bothered by the look of the first chairs and budget is a concern go with those, but if you want all of our opinion's, I will tell you that I would do either the chair in the middle or the chavari.

These are the chair's we are working with for our reception, while I'm not a huge fan of the pattern, they are comfortable and not the worst I've seen. We will use mahogany chavari chairs at our King's table.

Thanks everyone!! Your feedback was amazing. We will be renting chairs - just working on the entire plan and layout. Because I actually like the chairs pictured below with a color scheme we have fallen in love with. Our options are still open! We’re a year out and I’m crazy so everything could be changed within the next three months until I actually purchase table cloths and decor. LOL.

People don't care about the chairs as long as they're comfortable and there is one for everyone in attendance (even at dessert/appetizer receptions). They're only going to be sitting while they eat unless you have some people who prefer to chat than dance.
