It's basically the same process as the sand ceremony. You each have two different colors of glass that you pour into one container. The difference is that after the wedding, you ship it off to the company and they make it into a hand-blown glass vase/sculpture.

We didn't realize that was part of our ceremony but we both were given pink roses that we exchanged. The roses are now dried at MIL's house.

We are doing a unity puzzle so we can incorporate the kids (from his previous relationship) into the ceremony.

So, we're both nerds. It's very important that you know that before I continue.

I was thinking of making a cookie in the shape of a paopu fruit from the Kingdom Hearts video game series. In the game world, it's said that if two people share a paopu their destinies will be entwined forever. So the idea is we would share the cookie to symbolize our destinies being entwined.

I'm fully aware that it's really weird to anyone that doesn't play the games.

We are doing the candle lit unity part. I am getting one of our pictures together printed into the glass candle holder than getting the wax put in it. So when we light it together our picture will be in it.

We are making our own cords and doing a handfasting. We picked our ribbon colors (3 each) and bought them in matching widths. So far, i've braided FH's and need to put the charms on it (he has silver celtic knot heart charms and his colors are white, black and brown). I'll probably start mine next week and i have silver triskelion charms (colors are navy blue, green and purple).
