Ceremony Timeline for Tiny Wedding?

Hannah, on October 30, 2019 at 1:56 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 1 2
I have 10 guests, all family, at my 3:30pm garden wedding.

I hadn’t really thought about ceremony structure until today. My final officiant meeting is tomorrow and he wants me to bring a brief outline of how I want the ceremony to run.

All I have is:

-My maid of honor will walk in first. (Hopefully this is enough for people to know we’re starting?)

-My fiancé and I are walking “down the aisle” (up the stairs) together. (I don’t know if I want the photographer behind us or already up on the landing.)

-We won’t have traditions during the ceremony. Just his words, ring exchange, and kiss.

-and then I guess it’s over?

I was wanting to have a guitarist to play music to “gather” everyone for the ceremony, but they fell through.

I don’t really need a “walking out” song, because we are having a mini reception right after, just down the stairs.

does anyone have any ideas to make my ceremony timeline a bit more cohesive? Things I might’ve forgotten perhaps?

Hey Hannah! How did your final meeting with your officiant go yesterday?

Were they able to offer advice about your timeline?

I love the sounds of your intimate wedding! Can you believe that your wedding is so soon?

Hello Hannah, wish I'd seen this post sooner! Did your officiant offer to make an announcement that the ceremony was starting? You could always have a family member hit the "play" button on an iPod with bluetooth speaker at a certain time to get people's attention that the ceremony is starting as well. Or perhaps your officiant has offered a service like this as well? In any case, sounds like such a nice, clean, beautiful way to get married. Congrats!!
