I was initially thinking about a triangle arch or hexagon arch, and suggested building it out of pipe so we could haul it in pieces and assemble on site, but FH wasn’t crazy about that idea. I have also looked at simple trellises because I’ve been wanting to get one for our garden anyways, but my next dilemma was that the guys will be setting up the site so they will have to execute whatever decor I decide on.
My other thoughts were big candles and lanterns (which add up fast $$&dollar
, or two large planters or floor vases that we can use in our house afterwards, but I haven’t found anything I really like. My mom suggested intertwining branches to form an arch, but I’m guessing that will add up too and we’d still need something to support them.Would you bother decorating at all, or just set up the chairs/benches to designate the aisle and altar area? Any other suggestions?We are also getting married at sunrise and this is facing west, so the sun will come up behind us and light up the peaks.
