Ceremony & reception at the same place? How long?

Ours will be at the same place. Wedding at 3:30 or 4 and out by 10. After party at the hotel/casino.

4:30pm-10pm from ceremony to send off all in one venue.

4:30 - pre-ceremony cocktails

5pm - ceremony

5:30-6:30 - cocktail hour

6:30-9:30 - dinner and dancing

9:30 - send off

10 - GTFO

We'll be going out downtown after with any guests who want to keep the party going!

Mine will be ceremony at 6:30, reception 7 - 10pm, per venue rules. I could pay for another hour, but It worked out because I didn't want it to be more than 3 to 4 hours long.

Ours was at the same place. It was from 5:00 to 11:00

My work has ceremony and reception areas. We have three ballrooms and each has a specific ceremony spaces. On Saturdays we do 5 1/2 hour events and Friday/Sunday they are 4 1/2. Typically they will start between 4:00- 5:30. We can't go past midnight.

Recently went to one. The ceremony started at 4 and the last bus to leave the location was at 10.

5pm ceremony and lasted until 12:30am

We have the venue 5pm - midnight. Planning on the ceremony ~5:10 (to make sure stragglers get there) then reception starting no later than 5:30.

Ceremony til end of reception will be 5:30pm to 1130pm. My mom is upset it's so short, but i can't really afford to rent the hall longer, so we'll do an after party at the hotel

Most venues where you have both the ceremony and reception will have options of 4 to 6 hours. I've seen some go as long as 7 (wwwaaayyy too long imo).

Ok so i am having my ceremony in my church and then reception bout 20 mins away... our reception hall we have rented out from 3-11 what time would i need to have the ceremony.. any help would be greatly appreciated
