Ceremony near Ann Arbor or in Detroit ?? Help!!

My son is having a very small wedding next yr. we are having the reception at Carlyle Grill in Ann Arbor. Some of our family is coming from across the border and we live in Sterling Heights so we’re looking for a indoor ceremony space either near the border or near Ann Arbor that has lots of windows or is architecturally interesting such as beautiful brick walls. the problem we’re having is that a lot of the places we found require us to have also have reception there as well.

My ceremony is going to be at the Kerrytown Concert House in downtown Ann Arbor. We are having the reception at a restaurant down the street. It is a beautiful, small, intimate space, with a green room upstairs to get ready in. We are paying $275 for a four hour venue rental. We are having about 60 guests. I would definitely recommend checking that space out; it seems like it would be perfect for you!

What sort of guest count are you expecting for the wedding?
Lola had a really great suggestion.
You could also look into local museums or breweries as locations that are a bit different but visually interesting to look at.
