Ceremony look vs reception look

Do I have to change up my look from the ceremony to the reception? I am buttoning my dress train up but do I have to change my hair do or make up? I'm not being lazy or cheap it's just if I love my look at the ceremony why change for the reception? Is it etiquette to change it up?

No I have never heard of this. I do know some people who change their dress but I don't think that's necessary either.

Nope you don't have to at all. Its complete preference. I changed my dress but it definitely wasn't necessary. I just wanted to be able to move around more freely.

    It's entirely up to you.

I had my makeup touched up, my hair into an updo, and my dress bustled for the reception.
