Ceremony gazebo decor

mimitrue, on November 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

So, we have a gazebo at our venue in the middle of a garden estate for our ceremony site. It is decorated with tulle already and has a chandelier hanging inside of it. My thought was to get a floral arrangement to go at the top of the gazebo above us. But after hearing prices, I am wondering is it worth it? Does it look ok without it? Do people remember if you had flowers on your gazebo? What are your thoughts on a flower arrangement at the top of the gazebo? Worth the extra $300 or something that won't even be missed? I attached pics of both with and without flowers for reference.

Following because we have to consider this too.

We found a vendor who will let us rent silk flowers to decorate the gazebo if we choose. Way cheaper. Could that be an option?

It wasn't really that much different of a price to be honest. It's a difficult detail to decide. Will I miss it if it's not there in pictures? Or not so much. Ugh.

I was contemplating this as well. FH wants "Something on the gazebo". FMIL gave me extra tulle and this week we are going to the venue to see how it would look.

It obviously looks much prettier with flowers. But is it worth the money? Im debating this as well. I found some really cute garland at Micheals and was debating using that on it.. ugh not sure either..

You could always go with a smaller display. We're leaning towards just the two smaller ones on the side if we go with any flowers.

Could you reuse them on your sweetheart or king table? If you can reuse them during the reception, then you should do them. If the flowers would only be for the gazebo, I wouldn't do it.

In that bottom pic, it looks like the Best Man is holding a bouquet.

If you have to decide between top or 2 sides, do the top -- it will be seen more.
