Ceremony decor?

My Church is colorful already with a long aisle. Instead of floral arrangements at all the pews, my florist suggested just the front pews, and every other, so decor on each side of the aisle at pews 1, 3, and 5. I have 2 larger altar pieces at the front. Most pictures are of you and your partner at the front, and the photographer can also get some from partway down the aisle. If you'd like more decor, you could add economical fabric on every other pew. I'd just check about any candles with the Church.

We're getting married outside in an open air chapel, but our décor is very minimal. I'm just having strands of greenery hung on the two very first aisle chairs when you walk in, and having them attached with neutral colored ribbon.

I've seen where the florist put flowers on the first pews, then just had loose leaves scattered on the ground outlining the aisle. I've also seen large clear vases lining the aisle with pillar candles inside, and that was really pretty and dreamy looking!

After seeing how it looked at our friends' wedding, I'm wanting to add it as well to enhance the space! Yes, I agree that battery operated might be safer haha!

They did the clear vases with pillar candles inside and they skipped every other pew. So pew 1,3,5, etc had a group of three vases, but the leaves were scattered all the way down!

Ignore the mounds of petals and the runner. I like the pillar candles/vases alternating pews with some type of floral or bow. Then I'll have 2 flower girls scattering ivory/cream colored petals.

Keep it simple and inexpensive. Try to get double duty out of it at the reception.

Another vote for scattered petals! that way afterwards people can pick them up and drift them over us like confetti!
